LocalGrade ("we", "us", "the Service") is operated by La Chica de las IA's. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the third-party services involved when you use LocalGrade.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication details through Clerk, our authentication provider. When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe — we do not store your card details ourselves. We also store the reports you generate (business names, cities, grades, and related data) in our database, provided by Supabase.
To generate a report, LocalGrade queries publicly available business information from Google (via the Google Places API and Google PageSpeed Insights) about the business you search for. This is public information about businesses, not personal data about you. Report content, including grades and written recommendations, is generated using Anthropic's Claude AI based on that public data.
We use your account information to operate the Service: to authenticate you, apply your plan's usage limits, process payments, and maintain your report history. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate LocalGrade: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database hosting), Google (business data lookups), and Anthropic (AI report generation). Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Reports you generate are published at a unique public URL by default, so they can be shared with clients and indexed by search engines. These pages contain business data (name, city, grades) but do not contain your personal account information.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below. If you are located in the European Economic Area or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA, including the right to data portability and to object to certain processing.
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to info@lachicadelasias.com.
